Wireless Telemetry Load Pin

The AWS LTD Wireless Telemetry Load Pin is a strain gauged pin with a local battery powered wireless transceiver which communicates with our AWS Wireless Telemetry Load Measurement System. With simple to change extra-long life batteries, and a large range of load capacities, it is ideal for applications in systems where running cables to a load pin is not possible. The transceiver can be mounted within 3m of the Load Pin, in an easy to access location for battery changing.

The Load Pin can also be purchased without the Telemetry module if required.

What is a Load Pin?

Load pins are a specialised type of load cell designed for easier integration into your lifting solutions. Like a standard load cell, load pins usually use a strain gauge design to measure deformation from mechanical force, converting this into an electrical resistance change which is interpreted by a load display for an accurate weight measurement. Load pins are compact, strain gauged cylindrical pins that replace mechanical connectors to offer both weight measurement and structural integrity in setups where load cells are not a convenient solution.
